Terms of use for the sports hall
Only our guests are permitted to use the sports hall.
We accept no liability for damage or injury caused by the provision of the premises, nor are we responsible for the manner of movement or activity. Liability here lies with the responsible persons carrying out the work.
Use of the hall is only permitted with indoor sports shoes (abrasion-resistant, which leave no marks). We reserve the right to charge for any cleaning costs incurred in the event of improper use (e.g. incorrect shoes). Furthermore, persons who cause damage and/or contamination are no longer permitted to use the premises. The emergency exit is alarm-protected and may only be used in an emergency. (But not, for example, for ventilation or as a short route outside).
Pets
Due to the strict hygiene requirements for a youth hotel, pets are not allowed.
Non-smoking house
Due to the non-smoker protection regulations (§ 13 para. 1 Tobacco Act), the entire youth hotel is a non-smoking area. Unauthorized smoking in the house will result in the person(s) concerned having to leave the house immediately and without reimbursement.
Extinguishing water basin
For liability reasons, swimming in the extinguishing water basin is prohibited.
Parking lots
There are plenty of parking spaces for cars and buses.
Arrival and departure
Rooms are vacated by 10.00 a.m. on departure.
Rooms are ready for occupancy from 3.00 p.m. on arrival.
It is not possible to leave or store baggage before check-in or after check-out due to cleaning work.
No liability is accepted for left baggage.
We recommend storing your luggage in the car or bus.
Internet connection
We provide our guests with free WLAN. The free use has a limited bandwidth, depending on availability, and is available from 8:00 to 22:00. We only provide the WLAN, the user is responsible for the correct settings on the device. We cannot and will not provide any help here.
The bandwidth is limited by the local conditions (network connection). This can significantly affect the download speed. The free WLAN is equipped with a content filter. The WLAN provider firmly rejects any liability for misuse.
Only our guests are permitted to use the free WLAN. Non-residents are not permitted to use the facilities.
Deposit and payment
The accommodation contract is concluded upon confirmation of the reservation.
When making a reservation, we ask you to make a deposit (according to the reservation confirmation) to our account. However, we reserve the right to reallocate rooms if the deposit is not paid on time. Please pay the remaining amount in cash on the evening before your departure. For short stays (weekends) the balance is paid in CASH on arrival. Debit card is accepted.
Group booking
from 10 persons. In the case of group bookings, we grant a goodwill allowance of 10% if the number of persons booked is reduced.
Cancellation conditions
Room cancellations are only valid in writing. Up to 3 months before the start of the vacation no cancellation costs, up to 1 month before the start of the vacation we charge 40%. From 1 month to 1 week before the start of your vacation we charge 70% of the booked stay. In case of no-show 90 % of the booking amount. The booking conditions according to the Austrian Hotel Regulations and the business, booking and cancellation conditions for group stays apply.
Travel insurance
A booking is a purchase contract. Cancellations, late arrivals and early departures are subject to cancellation fees. Something can happen to anyone (illness, accident, etc.).
We therefore recommend taking out travel insurance for this eventuality.
Cancellation/excuse
Businesses and restaurants are accused of evading taxes, which is why the RKSV (Cash Register Security Ordinance) and other complications were enacted. As a result, any scope for goodwill arrangements has also been curtailed, as this can be interpreted to the detriment of the restaurateur (e.g. the accusation could arise that an overnight stay that is not charged as a gesture of goodwill was sold “illegally”).
We therefore strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, as we (have to) charge for cancellations in any case in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.

General local tax: 2.45 per night and person (persons up to the age of 15 are exempt)

Fire alarm system – BMA
The BMA makes a significant contribution to the safety of our guests. A fire alarm system is a networked system of smoke detectors and the fire alarm control panel with corresponding alarm functions and forwarding to the fire department.
The smoke detectors react extremely sensitively to particles in the air. Not only smoke, but also aerosols (such as deodorant or hairspray) as well as vapor from e-cigarettes, etc. Any intentional or unintentional triggering of an alarm is associated with massive excitement (due to siren alarms), effort and costs.
The costs arising from the activation of a fire alarm (whether deliberate or negligent) will be charged to the perpetrator and, if necessary, reported to the police. Triggering causes costs of at least € 200, and considerably more if the system is tampered with. Furthermore, we reserve the right to expel the person(s) in question from the premises.
